ek robotics Library
HSBA麓s ek robotics library is located on the 5th floor of the campus (Willy-Brandt-Stra脽e) and offers individual workstations and group rooms for HSBA students. Here, with a view on the St. Nikolai Church, students can use the textbook collection and the most important works relevant to their studies as reference stock.
All module and relevant literature acquired by the HSBA can be found by HSBA students via the online catalogue of the ek robotics library. Unlike e-books, the print media in the ek robotics library cannot be borrowed and can only be used in the rooms of the HSBA textbook collection.
ZBW Library
The ZBW - Leibniz Information Centre for Economics is the world's largest specialised library for economic literature and thus fits ideally into the courses offered at HSBA. Here, researchers and students are supported in their learning, research and publication processes.
The Hamburg location at the Binnenalster is within walking distance from HSBA. The ZBW is a reference, lending and digital online library. It has around 4.5 million media units. It subscribes to around 27,000 journals and provides access to more than two million digital full texts. In particular, HSBA students have the opportunity to access EBSCO (Business Source Premier) and numerous other online accesses (see below) via the ZBW.
The ZBW also provides access to the most important databases in economics, such as EconLit, Factiva, Statista and many more. The services of ZBW are based on the latest findings from application-oriented research in economics and computer science and related disciplines.
In addition, the ZBW offers individual workstations, group study rooms as well as wifi and copying facilities directly on the Alster.
Library of Commerce
The Commerzbibliothek of the Chamber of Commerce is the oldest economics library in the world and has a total of around 200,000 media, including numerous electronic media and databases such as DBIS, Kompass, Statista and WISO.
The reference collection of the reading room consists of about 1,000 volumes for daily practice, including reference works of all kinds, commentaries and collections of decisions. For use in the reading room, the entire stock can be requested from the stacks. A free book scanner, a coin-operated copier, a microfiche reader, five computer workstations and WLAN are available.
The online catalogue (OPAC) lists the entire literature of the Commerzbibliothek. You can search by title, author, corporate body, keyword or shelfmark, also in combination.
Furthermore, the Commerzbibliothek offers its users quick access to several electronic databases such as DBIS, EZB, Kompass, OECD, Statista and WISO and allows convenient online research, even from home.
